**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**

Our thoughts are with all of those who have been affected by the worldwide COVID-19 crisis and we know that it has been difficult for everyone.

Even with everything that has been going on, we have been hard at work behind the scenes to create an incredible event that will satisfy the passion that we all hold for our fandom.

That said, the health and safety of our attendees, vendors, guests and staff are of the utmost importance to us at Browncoat Waystation.

We are living in uncertain times and there is no clear indication of what the future will look like.

After many internal discussions, we have decided that the best course of action is to err on the side of caution and postpone the event until 2022 in the hope that things will have returned to some normalcy.

We have been in direct communication with our venue, the Queen Mary, and we are working on potential new dates for 2022.  As soon as we finalize those details, we will be making them available, so everyone can plan accordingly.

We truly appreciate your continued support and patience when it comes to our inaugural event.

Rest assured that Browncoat Waystation will happen, and we hope to see you there with open arms.

Fellow Browncoats,

It is with a heavy heart we share the news that on Sunday evening Cheryl Barton Mattson left us.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at 12 Noon at the Westlake Ward, 3175 South 3450 West, West Valley City, Utah; where friends and family are invited to visit 10:00-11:30am prior to the service.

There will also be a private family gathering held on Thorsday, October 3, at Holbrook Mortuary. Interment will take place at the Valley View Memorial.

To know Cheryl was to love her. Her smile was infectious and her passion to help others through the charities Utah Browncoats Society and Can't Stop the Serenity was legendary. Cheryl was part of our tribe. She will forever be part of our crew.
