Dear Browncoat Family,

During these unprecedented times many of us have found our lives turned upside down and were unprepared for the changes that have compelled us to adapt.

Those of us here at Browncoat Waystation are right there with you. We are fans and vendors just like you, who have been volunteering for a non-profit to bring you an amazing event. Sadly, we found out about our venue the same way you did - via social media and national news.

Rest assured that we fully intend to issue refunds to each and every one of you. We are working as quickly and adamantly as possible to get answers and status updates from the Queen Mary.

We know you are worried and struggling and we are all in the same ship.

We ask for your patience while we feverishly work to get things settled with the Queen Mary.

We will continue to update you as we get news. If we work together, our ship can successfully navigate these difficult skies.

-Your Friends at

Browncoat Waystation

Fellow Browncoats,

It is with a heavy heart we share the news that on Sunday evening Cheryl Barton Mattson left us.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at 12 Noon at the Westlake Ward, 3175 South 3450 West, West Valley City, Utah; where friends and family are invited to visit 10:00-11:30am prior to the service.

There will also be a private family gathering held on Thorsday, October 3, at Holbrook Mortuary. Interment will take place at the Valley View Memorial.

To know Cheryl was to love her. Her smile was infectious and her passion to help others through the charities Utah Browncoats Society and Can't Stop the Serenity was legendary. Cheryl was part of our tribe. She will forever be part of our crew.
